Just another long and boring day at work. I feel drained when I come home of an afternoon and hate going every day. I hope it gets better soon!

This afternoon I had a wonderful visit with Leah, Corrie & Brooklynn. B is so lovely. She has such a little personality and was running around while yapping away. So adorable! Yep. I'm clucky!

Couches, lounges, sofas, chairs... That's pretty much how we spent our day. Looking looking looking! I'm so over shopping for the perfect one that I'm almost ready to give up. On the bright side, I got to put the linen I was given at my bridal shower, on my bed! I think it just looks stunning!

Today we want to amart to look for a new couch, went to woolworths to buy the ingredients for dinner and prepared to have our first family dinner at our new house. There was 7 of us and we had chicken enchiladas! Yum yum!

Today was a long day at work, it's hard to come back after a public holiday and when you know that tomorrow is the weekend! But once we got home, it was all worth it. Bring on the weekend!

It's Australia day! It's also the first day this week that it hasn't rained! Today was a lazy day, I visited my parents and Phil had a friend come over. The highlight of my day was buying a new saucepan set. I love them and can't wait to use them!

Tonight we had Will, Tyana & Scott over. The we're drinking and got to the point that 1 got upset because the maltesers that he was eating tasted like dirt and cement, another thought he was fat and the third thought everything was slow mo. Hilariously funny!

Today we had a quiet one. Went to work and then came home to a partially flooded front yard! We fixed it up as well as we could and I made dinner. Enchiladas from scratch! Yummy!

Another day, another dollar. Today I was back at work and the day really seemed to drag. I did however have an awesome lunch with my wonderful husband. After work, Phil and I bought a new microwave, some garden tools, a drill and a whiteboard for our fridge. I searched high and low for a silver magnetic backed whiteboard and finally found one at office works. I love it! Feeling much more organized.

Today we spent the entire day putting furniture together and rearranging all the rooms to fit it all in. We now have a lowline tv unit, a coffee table, a lamp table, a buffet and a 9 peice dining set! It was beyond exciting when we looked at it all together. So so so happy with how everything has worked out. It's finally starting to feel like a home!

Happy Chinese New Year! Today marks the first day of the year of the dragon.

To celebrate, my sister, husband and 2 bestirs headed to China Town in the City. We listened to the drummers, looked at the Market stalls and even got to see the people behind the dragons!

We then went to Mexican in Taringa and headed home.

Thank god it's Friday! I had planned on vacuuming the lounge room after work, but opted for a night out to South Bank Markets with my husband, sister and besties instead.

Talk about excited! My Tupperware arrived today and I'm over the moon. I had a very successful party and thanks to my friends, got $700 worth of Tupperware for just under $300!! I don't mean to brag, I've just never had so much stuff before and I feel so unbelievably lucky and happy. The only thing that made me happier then opening my goodies, was my husband hiding in them!

So today was just a rather chill day at work. I came home to find that the home phone and foxtel had been connected, but the Internet won't be available until Friday at the earliest. It's driving me crazy! I have to rely on my phone for Internet connection. But anyway, aside from the arrive people and chill working conditions, I also managed to go for a run! Thanks to the inspiration of a fellow blogger Sarah from "Special Moments". I loved it! Thanks for the inspiration Sarah!

Today's photo is of my elephants. Hey are statues that I love and find very very calming. I'm all about de-stressing, de-cluttering and relaxing at the moment.

Today I was back at work and went to dinner with my husband. Super tired and not feeling well today. I did however manage to find a place for the lead light lamp that my aunt bought me for Christmas. I love it!

Today I had a flex day and spent time with my mum. We had a look at couches, furniture and had a nice lunch with my sister and her boyfriend. The best part of my day however was seeing my puppy! She was so exited to see me and cuddles up straight away. I miss her so much!

Today we started to unpack some more and then spent the afternoon with mum and dad. We've almost finished the kitchen and our temporary dining suite has been set up.

Tonight is the first night in our house. It's so exciting and scary all at the same time! On one hand, it's our first night of "freedom" and the first night of really being a married couple out on our own. On the other hand, I miss my family and am already finding it difficult to sleep because everything is so quiet. You would think I would love it, but when you go from 6 people to 2 people, everything is so much more noticeable! We went out to dinner to celebrate, so this is the inspiration for today's photo.

MOVE IN DAY! Yes - that required capitals. So we've in and it's perfect! We are so in love with our new home. Phil did such a good job with everything, i'm so proud of him.

To top off an already excellent day, i bought some new linen for the house at my friends linen party and also received my Reddit Gift! It's been over 2 months wait, so i actually forgot about it. It was more then a nice surprise. So today's photo is of my gift goodies.

So tomorrow is the big day! Move in day! We are super super excited!

Today's photo is the dining suite we ordered after looking in about 10 stores for over 3 weeks. It's exactly what we want and was a more then decent price. Love it!

Ignore the price in the back, that was for a package deal. We certainly didn't pay that much for a dining suite!

Todays photo is inspired by my beautiful dog Koko. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old and she's now 3 years old. I love her. Unfortunately when we move she won't be coming with us, She will be staying with mum, dad and her "sister" Kendra (My sisters Kelpie). I'm sad to leave her, but comforted that she'll be happy and that we'll still be able to visit her all the time.

I'm particularly impressed by this photo because she appears to have super powers. Possibly laser eyes!

So today we went to The Good Guys to purchase some more items for our new house! I'm so excited.

Today Phil and I went to Ikea to have a look around and make some purchases. We looked through the whole shop and ended up coming home with 3 floor rugs, 2 side tables and A lamp base all for $75! We had a great day and topped it off with dinner at Hogs Breath Cafe.

Today's photo is inspired by Hogs Breath. We've found out that you can actually purchase the Hickory Sauce. It probably seems weird to be so excited about it, but we just love it!

Shopping day today! Getting ridiculously excited about our big move next week. We went to Super Amart, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman today and are heading out to ikea tomorrow to grab some cheap bookcases and a coffee table. I really can't explain just how excited I am. I just can't wait to see all my things again and pull them out of storage.

Well my week just got a whole lot better. We finally have a move in date! It's next friday!!! We are so excited and can't wait to have a whole house just to ourselves. We are buying some furniture on the weekend, but at this point, we'd sleep on the floor and sit on milk crates just to move in!

So, the inspiration of todays photo is our new house! This is the bathroom with the gigantic bath that I just can't wait to relax in.

Well today was probably the worst day I've had in a long time. I found out I didn't get a job that I was really really hoping to be interviewed for, I found out what my current workmates (and possibly my boss!) really think of me. I also learnt that crying until throwing up, just because you think someone doesn't like you, is silly and can even make you even more angry in the long run. This week is just not my week. Honestly, I just want to quit my job. If only that was a more viable option...

Anyway! Today's photo is of my husband playing a video game. Why? because just having him around makes me happy. Whether he is playing his games, lying in bed next to me or just mucking around, he always makes me smile.

Oh how I miss you holidays. It was my first day back at work today and I almost cried when I walked through the door. It's not that I hate my job, so much as I am so unsure about what i'm doing and have issues retaining all the information i'm consistently loaded with. I cannot wait to return to my old job (i'm currently on secondment) as I know what i'm doing there and can do it well. I feel like a burden on my colleagues at the moment, not a nice feeling.

On a lighter note, i've started one of the new books that Phil bought me for christmas. It's not something i would have picked myself, but so far so good! So it's my photo of today! oh and I might throw in a bit of a book review once i'm done.

Well today was a rather boring day. We are returning to work tomorrow and have spent the best part of the day washing, ironing and cleaning in anticipation of the lack of free time it brings. We packed a lot of our possessions up and organised for them to be taken to storage, boxed and packed all our spare kitchen items and purchased some new pillows and a quilt for our new bed.

Can't wait to move!

Day One - Today my husband & I spent the morning at home relaxing and watching movies and enjoying the first half of the first day of the year together. Later this afternoon we went to Kangaroo Point to take a few photos. Something we both really love to do. I thought these photos were the perfect way to start my new project!

It's 10pm on Saturday the 31st of December 2011. This is my first and last post for the year.

2011 has been a massive year. I turned 21, I married my best friend, I went on an amazing holiday and I spent my last christmas at home.

2012 is going to be the beginning of our new life together. A new chapter and a new adventure.

I simply canont wait!

To start documenting this year, i've decided to do the 365 (or 366 this year as it's a leap year!) challenge. To take a photo ever day from January 1st 2012 - January 1st 2012.
